KIDS ANCHOR CLUB
GRADES K-5
Sunday 10:00am Service
Each Sunday morning for the 10:00am service, children get to participate in their own lesson shortly after Church begins. Children grades K-5 are instructed to follow the teacher for a loving lesson that correlates to the current readings for that Sunday. Anchor Club is very popular! Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction.

ALTAR GUILD
Setting up Sacred Space
Setting the Lord’s Table for Sunday Eucharistic worship is performed by two or three member Teams who meet on Friday or Saturday to make these preparations. Using the bulletin, hymn numbers are pulled/placed on hymn boards, candles are oiled, altar hangings are changed based on the church season, linens are replaced if soiled, gospel, lectionary and missal books are marked, chalices, patens, water and wine cruets are made ready and these along with collection plates are placed on the altar and credence tables. Following Sunday worship, the team members will remove and clean items. Approximate time for set up is one and one half hours for church and chapel and 15 to 20 minutes following the Sunday Church Eucharist.
