Where Can I Serve? Talent and treasure go far here! Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the community and the world around us. It begins in our own community. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

Grace Episcopal Day School A ministry of Grace Church, this beautiful school serves PK3-8th Grade just down the street. Grace Episcopal Day School is a Christian based, family-oriented educational community dedicated to maximizing each student’s potential. Click on the website link or call admissions at (904)269-3718.

Laundry Love The last Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm, Grace provides free laundry to the residents of Orange Park at Bellair Coin Laundry. Feel free to contact our coordinator, Larry Kronbach via the Church Office if you want to volunteer with this exciting outreach! This ministry has changed peoples lives.

Youth Ministry Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own lesson shortly after Church begins. Children grades K-5 are instructed to follow the teacher for a loving lesson that correlates to the current readings for that Sunday. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction.

Music & Drama God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God. We welcome any and all! If you wish to sing, just arrive at 9:30am that Sunday morning and our Choir Leader will have you singing faster than you can say fa-la-la.

Pastoral Care Team Grace Episcopal provides Pastoral Care for anyone who is sick, shut in, having a problem, having surgery, needing some kind of help, including meals, etc. This ministry also includes Communion for those at home or in nursing homes.
Hospitality Team Good in a kitchen? Not a requirement! Sign up to bring light refreshments for coffee hour after the service OR volunteer to set up for hospitality. This service is appreciated by all and is a great way to meet new members and experience fellowship. Sign up sheets are in the Narthex (Fancy word for Lobby).

Altar Guild is a fantastic way to get to know more about the Church, the different seasons and why we do what we do! It’s made up of teams so it’s an easy rotation and takes little time. This ministry might appeal to the detailed folks. Contact Sheila Chisholm via the Church Office.

Media & Technology Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. We hope to have  our weekly sermons uploaded soon to our website in audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication. Newsletters are sent weekly and we would love to include you in all communication.

Blessing Box  “Take what you need, Give what you can” is the philosophy of the Blessing box.  We have a lovely red box in front of the Church where non perishable donations are placed for others to help themselves.  These items serve a need in our community and give the hungry food.  Donations may be dropped off to the Church office and there is a marked area in Benedict Hall as well.

Prayer Shawl Ministry  These ladies lovingly knit beautiful prayer shawls and lap blankets for those who are sick or in need of comfort. They make shawls for Wounded Warriors that are blessed and given to Camp Weed’s retreat. And twice a year, they knit booties, burp cloths, and hats to give to preemies in the neonatal intensive care units at all seven hospitals in Northeast Florida. What a beautiful gift to share with so many. If you would like to get involved in this ministry, please contact the church office.

Nursery Ministry is available for newborns through age 5. This ministry is for your convenience and not a requirement. The sounds associated with God’s children remaining throughout the worship service are additional music to our ears.

Grace MOPS of Orange Park Our Mother of Preschoolers program is a true example of how we can help others in the best of ways. Be a mentor to other moms, help with childcare, donate items! This program meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at Grace.
